New logo

Dear readers,

Given the constant evolvement of Art of the Mid East, I thought it was best to have a logo created for the blog, to give it a more distinct and personal touch. The logo took many weeks of work, and was worked on by one of the best design teams in the world. After shifting through many options, I finally decided on this logo, given its simplicity and freshness. With its clean writing and strong colors, this logo best represents the nature of this blog.

Thank you all for continuing to read, tweet, comment, email, and discuss this blog and its content. The blog has well over 8,000 views in just a couple of months!  I have many great features ahead, and will constantly strive to provide you with the most interesting content, beautiful art, and the most comprehensive take on Middle Eastern art.

Enjoy the new logo and thank you for your constant support!

    Dear Taymour,

I’m so happy to have come across your fantastic website and love the new logo.

Could you please give me and your readers information on an Iraqi artist named Ismail Fattah Alturk? I find his work amazing.

    Kindest regards,
    Walid

    • Walid,

Thanks! I am glad you like the blog and the logo! Ismail Fattah is a great artist- one of the Iraq master painters! I definitely plan a feature on him soon.
      All the best!!

Using a good middle-eastern term…MABROUK! A more original version of the logo you used when you started off, yet retaining recognizability… keep keeping us posted, many thanks, Mouna
